- Aquenta
Aquenta is an Afro-Caribbean crip/disabled DJ, residing on Darug Country in Western Sydney.
Her sound is a genre-blending concoction: expect dancehall, global club, rnb, breaks, grime, rap and everything in between.
She has supported numerous international heavyweights including Bradley Zero (UK), Tygapaw (US), Ketia (DE), Gabrielle Kwarteng (US) and Suze Ijó (NL); and has played a range of parties and festivals up and down the East Coast, including MONA FOMA 2023 and Sydney World Pride.
As well as being a DJ, Aquenta is the founder of CRIP RAVE THEORY; a club night which draws on disabled knowledge to create more intersectionally-accessible rave spaces.
